months of snowfall through winter prevent any possibility of taking on projects
like repainting outdoor furniture or taking care of those plants that I’ve been
neglected for some time, the coming of spring means we can finally get around
to tackling this project without weather being an issue. Tarps can be extremely
useful when we’re thinking about the projects we need to get through in April
or May. If you have a heavy-duty tarp on hand, it becomes easier to
tackle difficult tasks where things need to be protected or kept covered. At

A tarp cover can be extremely useful for protecting yourself
from the sun and blocking harmful UV rays. When spring weather starts to settle
in, we let kids out more often to play or spend time in the pool, and we may
also want to plan picnics or simply hang out and read in the warmer weather. In
this case, a poly tarp does a great job of acting as a sunshade. You can place
it over outdoor furniture, picnic tables, play areas, or sandboxes while you
spend time outdoors. This way, you don’t have to rely entirely on sunscreen and
can instead be sure that the sun’s rays are being kept away.
Protect Shrubbery
While Pressure Washing Driveways Or Decks
You can use a waterproof tarp to protect your plants, garden
area, or shrubs when pressure washing your decks, driveways, siding, or patios.
Over the winter, these areas may get dirty from snowfall and slush, so spring
is when you might decide to pressure wash these areas and get them looking
fresh. When pressure washing, you may mix in some cleaning detergents as you
hose down your outside areas. These cleaning agents, like bleach, can be
harmful to any plants you have around and can cause irreparable damage. For
this reason, you’ll want to use a large tarp to cover all plants and gardens
you have that are at risk of getting sprayed by the power-washing process. Once
you’ve done all your cleaning and your deck, driveway or other outdoor area has
completely dried out, you can remove the plastic tarp (or other material you
chose) and put it away, since the job is now done!

With warmer weather, you’re probably thinking about tackling
those outdoor and DIY projects that I’ve been on the back burner throughout
winter. This could include repainting your decks, painting outdoor furniture,
or waterproofing playground equipment. A canvas tarp is great for this because of how
heavy-duty it is, and you can be sure that anything you have nearby or under
your furniture or other equipment will be well protected.
Keep Your Pool Covered With The Right Tarpaulin
As the snow melts and you start to spend time outside,
you’ve also probably decided to fill the pool up again. That said, you don’t
want to spend time before each swim removing any debris or insects from the
pool water before diving in. This is where a tarp cover comes in. Depending on
the dimensions of your pool, you can find a variety of tarp sizes and pick the
one that suits you best. You can set the tarp over the pool when it’s not in
use, remove it, and hang it to dry before your swim. This is a great way to
ensure animals, insects, bugs, plants, and debris don’t get into the pool.
